Motto:
“Service faster than a speeding Siberian!”
My goal is to enhance the loving bond between you and your dog.
I will do this by teaching you how to train your dog, using positive methods, to be an all-around, everyday canine good citizen. By getting off on the right foot in obedience training, many serious behavioral problems can be avoided down the road.
I will also explain how dogs learn and how they interpret their environment, which is much different from how we humans learn. I will give you the tools to continue training your dog throughout your partnership together. My emphasis is on everyday, practical obedience using positive reinforcement methods and current, dog-friendly, science-based training techniques.
Whether your goal is basic manners, preparing for competitive canine sports or somewhere in between, I will provide you with the latest training techniques and equipment available in a setting designed to enhance learning for both you and your dog, as well as help you acquire the necessary training skills to continue working at home.
If you have difficult behavior issues that cannot be covered in a class setting, I can help you by setting up a behavior modification program for your pet.
I believe in looking at the whole dog when a problem arises. This means taking into account his health and diet, his home environment, recent experiences as well as his current level of training. I will be happy to work with you and your veterinarian in solving your dog’s behavioral issues.
